JRNY provides real-time coaching during your Adaptive workout. Coaching can include:

  • Heads up when a speed, incline, lean or intensity change is coming.

  • Coaching into suggested target range.

  • Information on how the Adaptive targets affect your training.

  • Form suggestions and reminders.

  • Goal reminders and encouragement.

To start a workout with Virtual Coaching:

  1. Start any Adaptive workout.

  2. If necessary, tap the Volume icon in the upper right and use the Virtual Coach slider to adjust the voice volume.
    a. If listening to JRNY Radio, the music will be temporarily lowered while the Virtual Coach speaks.
    b. If watching a streaming entertainment app, the Virtual Coach will not be heard.
