Your JRNY-Compatible Cardio equipment uses Bluetooth to connect and communicate workout data to JRNY. This allows the workout data (such as speed, distance, time, etc.) to be logged in your Journal.

Please note, if you have a JRNY Built-In Touchscreen product:

These steps only apply to JRNY-Compatible Cardio equipment. You do not need to connect your JRNY Built-In product using Bluetooth, please skip ahead to Adding/Switching Profiles or First Workouts & Fitness Assessment to finish getting started with JRNY.

Step 1 - Enable Bluetooth settings on your mobile device

  1. Open your device’s settings menu.

  2. Tap on the Bluetooth settings and toggle Bluetooth ON.

  3. Return to the JRNY app to finish setting up the connection.

Step 2 - Connect your equipment to JRNY

  1. Plug the power cord into your machine and wait for it to power up fully.

  2. In the JRNY app, tap the Bluetooth icon in the upper-right corner.

  3. In the Bluetooth Panel that appears:

    1. Locate the machine you’re connecting to in the list of available equipment.

    2. Tap Connect next to the machine name.

    3. You may receive a Maintenance Reminder when connecting - these reminders are important for a smooth and safe experience. Tap Okay to dismiss the notification.

  4. Your equipment was successfully connected when you see the following:

    1. The equipment icon on the left is now green.

    2. Disconnect is displayed next to the machine name.

    3. Disconnect Machine appears under the list of available equipment.

    4. Your machine’s console may also display App Connected or Connected to JRNY.
