Q: GoogleFit no longer connects
A: The legacy apps are no longer being updated, and subsequently GoogleFit compatibility is no longer working. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Q: My workouts are no longer syncing
A: Try unpairing from the app by tapping Forget Device, then turn your machine off/on. Open the app and try pairing again. If the issue persists, make sure you have Bluetooth accessibility enabled for the app (iOS users), or Location Permissions enabled for the app (Android users). If the issue persists, the memory on the machine could be reaching capacity, in which case the memory will need to be wiped. NOTE - this will erase all workout data and profile data on the machine, and in the app. Please follow the instructions in the Owner's Manual to RESET CONSOLE YES, found in the Console Setup Mode section.
Q: The Max Trainer app is not updating my M6 or M8 machine.
A: The Max Trainer app is a legacy app, and not compatible with the M6 or M8. Please download the JRNY app instead.
Q: How do I delete specific workouts, edit, or move them to another profile?
A: This is not an available feature for these apps.
Q: The M-Trac app quit working.
A: The M-Trac app is no longer being updated; however, you may still be able to use the app as a Guest.
Q: How do I change the date on my machine? NOTE - for the M7 see the M7 specific Q&A for this.
A: Please refer to the machine's corresponding Owner's Manual, in the section titled Console Setup Mode.
Q: How do I change the date on my Max Trainer M7?
A: Use the following steps:
Make sure that your console is not in a workout, hit the “Pause/Stop” button until the display reads “GET READY”.
Press and hold the “Pause/Stop” and “Add Time” buttons for roughly three seconds and until the “SET DATE” prompt is shown.
Make changes to the currently selected field by using the “BURN RATE TARGET” or the “RESISTANCE LEVEL” rocker switches; confirming each selection by pressing the “Enter/Start” button.
Once the desired date is entered, the menu will change to the time entry screen. Navigation is the same as the date menu. After the confirmation of the AM/PM selection, the console’s display will return to the “GET READY” display.
Once the new date is entered, all new records will be timestamped from the new date entry. Old records are not updated.
Q: How do I erase all workout data and user profiles?
A: Please follow the instructions in the Owner's Manual to RESET CONSOLE YES, found in the Console Setup Mode section. NOTE - the erased data is not recoverable once deleted.
Q: The SelectTech app crashes when I try to play a video.
A: There are no updates for the app in development or being planned. We are aware of an issue with the app crashing when some devices tap to view a preview of the workouts. As a work around, try not to watch the previews, and instead tap Start Workout, which will play the video, and not cause the app to crash.

The other end plugs in to the audio jack of your phone or tablet. If your phone does not have an audio jack, please research on how to obtain the appropriate adapter.
