Sync JRNY Workouts to Apple Health
Workouts completed in JRNY can be synced to Apple Health using an iPhone. Additional syncing to the Fitness app is controlled by Apple software.
To set up syncing to Apple Health with a new account:
Launch JRNY on an iPhone.
Go to the Journal tab - a modal will appear.
In the Connect to Apple Health modal, tap the Connect button (see NOTE below).
In the Health Access screen, tap Turn on All or select the categories to sync (works best with All).
Tap Allow in the upper right.
After each JRNY workout, make sure to open the Journal tab to sync the workout to Apple Health.
NOTE: the Connect button will only appear in the Journal the first time it is opened. If not set up at that time, use one of the alternate methods below to connect.
Alternate method using an iPhone or iPad:
Launch JRNY on an iPhone or iPad.
Go to the Profile tab (see NOTE below).
Tap the Apps & Services button.
Select Apple Health.
In the Apple Health screen, tap the Connect button.
In the Health Access modal/screen, tap Turn on All or select the categories to sync (works best with All).
Tap Allow in the upper right.
After each JRNY workout, make sure to open the Journal tab to sync the workout to Apple Health.
NOTE: the Connect Button in Profile/Apps & Services/Apple Health screen will only appear in the Profile if it wasn’t selected when the user first saw the modal.
Alternate method using Apple Health app:
Launch the Apple Health app.
Tap the user icon in the upper right.
Under Privacy, tap Apps.
Select JRNY from the Apps list.
Tap Turn on All or select the categories to sync (works best with All).
After each JRNY workout, make sure to open the Journal tab to sync the workout to Apple Health.
Alternate method using device settings (iOS 18 only):
Launch the Settings app on an iPhone or iPad.
Select Apps.
Select the Health app.
Tap Data Access & Devices.
Tap JRNY.
Tap Turn On All or select the categories to sync (works best with All).
Close Settings app.
After each JRNY workout, make sure to open the Journal tab to sync the workout to Apple Health.
