Troubleshooting Steps

The following steps can help to resolve any related issues:

Audio & Voice

  1. Check the volume settings on your machine.

  2. Attempt to adjust the volume settings using the JRNY interface:

    1. Tap the Speaker icon, located in the upper right corner of the screen or on the relocatable control bar during streaming workouts (JRNY-embedded products only)

    2. Use the slider controls to adjust the volume.

      • Adjusting the Master slider will adjust how loud the audio is.

      • Adjusting the sliders individually will adjust how the audio mix is balanced (e.g. louder JRNY Radio and quieter Tones & Celebrations).

    3. Tap anywhere outside of the volume adjustment panel to save the volume settings.

  • Navigate to the Profile tab

  • Tap quickly & repeatedly 10-15 times on your initials in the circle

  • Select "Check Runtime Permissions"

  • Reboot the machine

Troubleshooting Steps

The following steps can help to resolve any related issues:

Audio & Voice

  1. Uninstall JRNY from your device

  2. Turn your device off, then back on

  3. Reinstall JRNY from the App Store/Google Play Store

  4. Power cycle your machine:

    1. Unplug the power cord from your machine

    2. Wait 30 seconds (this step is important, as it allows the machine to completely power down)

    3. Plug the power cord back into your machine

    4. Do not touch any buttons on the console while it is starting up.

  5. Test if the issue persists.

JRNY requires Microphone permissions to be enabled in the device settings menu.
